After completing his education, he worked for the Italian Olivetti Group in London and Milan from 1988 to 1991. In 1991 he moved to Accenture, where from 2004 to 2016 he was responsible for the Austrian market as country manging director. In 2016, Klaus founded CHANGE FORWARD Strategy & Leadership Consulting based in Vienna. Since then, his focus has been on recruiting executives for the digital world and executive coaching for transformation and innovation.

Klaus is vice president of the renowned Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and board member of the TU Wien Foundation. He is an ambassador of the Austrian Red Cross.
